A tractor pull competition consists of  a tractor with a souped up tractor engine. A dirt track is constructed where the farther you go the worse the track conditions get.  The tractor is hooked to a sled and the sleds purpose is to provide resistance against  the force of the engine. In reality the winner of the competition is the tractor that pulls the farthest against ever increasing resistance and then the sled overcomes the horsepower and the tires get into softer dirt and the sled in effect wins as the tractor loses forward progress. Many in the church and churches themselves have experienced this tractor pull scenario in the realm of the spirit. A giant thrust forward and an eventual loss of forward progress. Like churches individuals go forward maybe from an addiction and victory is marked by how long they stayed clean this time. How long someone went before they gave into temptation. Luke 23:22 And he said unto them the third time,why what evil has he done?I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him ,and let him go. A Roman leader finds no fault in a Jew and thrice he tries to turn the mob crowd of Jews back from blood thirst. I like the word use of evil to a crowd set on killing an innocent man. This Roman leader Pilot climbed the military's ladder and now wears a politician's hat in many instances  and he uses the phrase "Why what evil has he done?Three times evil demands death to innocence and now this word evil is as a mirror, hoping for light, hoping to bring  a rethinking, a remission of their demands. What he nor they were aware of , it was a day of darkness. The light was shone as a pin light into deep space, it breaks apart and dissolves to quick to be discovered. His grand finale in his third and last volley of light was a just judgment."I will follow Roman protocol and give him stripes and let him go."Wh

We go to see the Grand canyon but we come back talking about the glass floor platform. Love is focused. Love is purposed. Your greatest moments are you imitating God. Love is messy because order comes when construction is complete. Love is powerfully protecting your every step.

Oh to return to the Spirit of past days Where everyone knew what it meant to be saved Where even the lost knew the world would end Where they respected the cross Desired change and admitted they were lost Oh to return to the Spirit of  past generations Where the Church was separate from the world

There are those who fail to heed the warnings of hell To embrace their world they get lost from God's love If never recovered the earth opens to receive another king And he who has no name is buried.
