The work it takes these days to stay lost, defeated, sick, or poor is exhausting. Knowing this first not enduring sound doctrine is a spoiled child response not realizing or not spiritually aware of what is out there wanting to get in here. The battle is for your body and all that it can express to this world. Why do you think that alcohol affects the mouth? Your words are powerful. Why do you think the devil likes to take his victims to altered states of reality? Or created worlds not created by God but by the absence of God a counterfeit? We can suppress the truth in unrighteousness. Rejecting sound doctrine leads to people who tell you what you want to hear. Who do you think sent them to you? These so-called teachers are a shadow. Dead men walking and gathering, never knowing the Love of God they cannot LOVE Gods appearing and those who sit under them find out the purpose of the deceiver is to deceive. Guile deception steals sound doctrine. (Mark 4) What is taken from us? Conviction, THE GOODNESS OF GOD showing us where we have stepped into a dark place of danger. All the reasons for this detour are mute until we respond to GOODNESS. God is not looking at your sin, as soon as you turn from it.He is looking at His light shineing in the darkness you found yourself in and Father God sees what it did to you and begins a treatment of multiple levels. What happens when we dwell in the darkness? (SIN) Like our perception altered by drugs and our mouths by alcohol, our ears begin to close to His voice. We will not listen. Daniel confessed to God that Isreal had forsaken God's word because they did not want to hear HIS VOICE. (Daniel 9) Where does this leave us? Well, called men and women of God have a Word for you. Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, Prophets, Apostles are given, this is the 5 fold ministry office gifts and all the supporting casts crying with voices like trumpets burning like flames of fire in God's HOLY Spirit. I ask you as God asks in Proverbs 8 "Does not wisdom cry?"
