Dwell

The Holy Spirit would come on people in the old testament. Then he would lift off. The difference in the old and new testament believers is proven by Jesus Christ's life that The Holy Ghost of God(he is God)comes and stays. John the Baptist as described in the Gospel of John 1:32 John bare record saying, "I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him". Now we come to John the Baptist and two disciples when John says Behold, the Lamb of God! (John 1:36) This dwelling of the Holy Spirit marked Jesus Christ as The Lamb of God. The two following John the Baptist heard the declaration and went up to Jesus Christ and said "Where do you dwell? (John 1:38) and Jesus replied Come and see. If you can't see this we are seeing where he dwelt. He dwelt in the Spirit. Consider The type of example the Old Testament gives us King David said" Don't take your Spirit from me". The Prophets calling brought the Spirit to do the Prophets job and then seemingly went away. But in the New Testament with Jesus teaching a higher lifestyle where actions are not the only thing looked at. But if you look and conceive something on the inside it is as if you have acted. That is why dwell is so important. Years ago my pastor got this dwell spirit in Deuteronomy in chapter 26 as applies to a homestead but that is exactly what we're talking about. The Holy Ghost dwelling in us. It can't get any more personal than inside of you.
Now back to showing where Jesus Christ dwelt  (he was showing the two followers of John the Baptist.) This is my explanation of what happened that day. They spent the day with that man whom the Spirit of God dwells in and remains. That's what happened. And then Andrew (one of the followers) went and told his brother Simon " We have found the Messiah, which is being interpreted the Christ. To further my point on dwell "The Christ" means the Anointed One and His anointing. He is defined by the dwelling of the Holy Ghost and so are His followers. We saw what Andrew did. He went and told him that he found him! But that's not all Andrew brought Simon to Jesus.
