Morning poem or comment

The gift is the thing given. That lets you out of prison. The song is the pardon. That covers all your wrongs. We crash into another day. Taking little thought as to which way. We leave great wealth behind. So much trouble caring for what's mine. We see the beauty of a new morning. We crash into another day. Move this problem out of the way. Another nickel another dime. But you're running out of time. Science will find a new day. But a meteorite is coming this way. Now the gift is far away. Prison is every day. The pardon song is what is wrong. And nothing can cover my wrong. I have no ground to stand on. How do I see a need for a foundation? Who cares about creation? Or any nation? Virus be damned. I have a right! I'm free!

Without

There is no intimacy without God.

Hope

The way of life. Seen thru the wise. They have a upward gaze. Looking for the maker of the skies. With a heart praising and raising the Lord and His ways. The hope of salvation eternal life, endless day.

Double edged reward

Psalm 91:8 Only with your eyes will you behold and see the reward of the wicked. Psalm 91:8  If I had to generalize the "Behold" in the bible I would say it's a contrast warning. Warning, warning danger. Pay attention blessed and cursed stand beside each other every day. Inserted in the middle of Psalm 91 is the above verse. I put the chapter and verse on both sides it is like what God and the psalmist did with the intense promises of this psalm and then he inserts verse 8. If engrossed in the goodness of the writing you will miss the command to "behold and see". the Message bible leaves them out altogether. Behold -look intently, to regard with care and have respect. See - advise self, discern. There is no PTSD in the future of a believer. Someone who abides dwells and pursues the Almighty. The understanding brings peace. With blessing, there is a curse for the non-compliant. Smack dab in the middle of psalm 91 in verse 8 we see an instruction look intent

Proverbs 8:1
