Lost or out of shape?

My truck broke and for sometime I had to walk. This brought change to my life.  The body became the transporter like when there were no cars. My metabolism quickened and intake of water and food increased. My shoes were affected extra wear and the shine had to be restored. All of this because the timing belt wore out. One thing leads to another, waves of change roll in and we need to be able to adjust. A sailboat  guy for a lack of boatmanship talk, we need to flip the sail and catch the wind. God's wind is always blowing and we are tasked to catch it. If the heart be hungry.
At prayer last night I heard this,"They are not lost they are out of shape" and then the results described to me from the man who worked on my car came to mind. What happens inside an engine when it's timing is lost. Quickly, gas is needed to spark (external combustion engine) but if out of timing the valves open when they aren't supposed to. Gas mixes with oil and everything is out of shape. They aren't lost that come to church. They are coming but the insides are out of time. Converting an entire operating system over to another type is difficult. Paul said, He would travail in birth for us that Christ be formed in us again. Jude tells of those who come for evil to be present but that is another thing. This is the Laodicean church and their timing belt is losing teeth and the world's spirit and ours are mixing and the Lord said in verse 18 of chapter 3 in Revelation faith is our timing chain fixer. Our hearts are opening to the world and closing our eyes to it.(Gas and oil) The internals are all messed up. All things are possible to them that believe.
