Pray for us;for we trust we have a good conscience,in all things willing to live honestly. But I beseech you the rather To DO THIS, that I may be restored to you the sooner. Hebrews 13:18-19

Paul is representing leadership to the twenty first century church and his request is pray for us. More than one not just himself but all people in positions of authority. A preacher once said,that running for president was out of the question. His thought being four year temporal responsibly or eternal results of blessing to those who hear and believe.

God's not done.

Thessalonians 3:1-2 

Finally brethern, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified,even as it is with you: that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.

Once again in a letter to the church he inserts a "pray for us" this time getting to some things that need a prayer answer. Free course for the Word of God. This is a blog post in it's self (see Mark 4) or maybe the mention of wicked men means they disrupted some part of his discourse. Not hearing it themselves and hindering those who were also there. We can see how Paul believed in and trusted prayer.

Brethern,pray for us.

One line,one simple request, one thing in this and every letter don"t forget to pray for us.

Colossians 4:3-4

Meanwhile, praying also for us,that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ,for which I am also in bonds: that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.

Make a closed thing open for me church that the mystery of Christ may be spoken. That being revealed you may believe. This is how it ought to be.

God's not done

Ephesians 6:18-19-20

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,and watching thereto with all perseverance and supplication" for all saints": AND FOR ME,that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly,to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly,as I ought to speak.

Leadership needs/wants prayer for all saints. Like the timing chain post it all works together or we start sputtering. Paul wants boldness,meaning so does your leaders. Paul wants all saints covered which means so do your leaders. Paul wants a word. Leadership wants to reveal the mystery of the gospel. We see through a glass darkly but we do see, if we pray. Pray that word into and then out of that man. It may be your deliverance. To help this point look at the next verse in 1 Corinthians 1:11.

You also helping together by prayer for us,that for the gift bestowed upon us, by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

Helping together by prayer. Declare Paul's faith in prayer.Your faith in prayer will grow if you act upon the Word and pray.You are a world changer, a power plant generating God's good will toward men through prayer.

Called to do his will on earth

Helping in the new birth

Alone in this no one stands

We all must come into the perfect man

For me I ask to have to give

The power of God so they may live
